Paula Jiménez Queipo was born in Madrid in 1990.
In 2012 she graduated in Music Education from the Complutense University of Madrid.
In 2013 she obtained her degree in music in the specialty of bassoon at the High School of Music of the Basque Country (Musikene), under the tutelage of professors David Thomas Realp, Javier Arago and Alvaro Prieto.
She is currently completing the final semester of a Master of Interpretation at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Kunst daarstellende of Mannheim (Germany) with Professor Ole K.Dahl.
In 2009 she started her professional experience with the Youth Orchestra of the Community of Madrid (JORCAM). So far she has had the privilege to perform with some of Europe’s best young orchestras such as JONDE- National Youth Orchestra of Spain (2012-2015), the NJO-Youth Orchestra of Holland (2011), the Baltic Youth Philharmonic Sea (2014) or Mediterranean Youth Orchestra (2014), among others.
She is presently an intern at the National Orchestra of Spain. She has collaborated with the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra and the Ulster Orchestra, under temporary contracts or as guest artist. She also cooperates with orchestras in Spain such as the Santa Cecilia Classical Orchestra, the Barbieri Symphony Orchestra, Excelentia Fundation, etc.
In the field of chamber music she got a scholarship from Villa Musica Rheinland Pfalz and Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now.
